A Home Away from Home
Our nurturing environment serves as a cozy and welcoming space where children feel secure and loved. We strive to make Jannie's Babies a true home away from home. Our facility also offers full time video surveillance to give your family piece of mind.
Jannie's Babies Daycare is an organization named after Jannie Tucker. Jannie raised 14 boys and girls. She was blessed with 82 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Alongside her husband Thomas Tucker they both raised children in a world with limited resources such as quality, affordable, accessible daycare that provided learning for all children. Despite all challenges, Jannie accomplished childrearing and successfully instilled in her children the core values of love, humility, integrity, courteousness, and empathy.
Jannie's Babies Daycare is operated by Brianna and Shanice, both certified daycare specialists who are descendants (grandchildren) from Jannie Tucker. They carry the traditional core values that were passed down from generation to generation to display love, humility, integrity, courteousness, and empathy, in turn planting these seeds into young ones under their care!
Meet The Staff
Bri Jones - On-Site Provider & Education Director
Hello, my name is Bri Jones, and I am proud to serve as the On-Site Provider and Education Director for Jannie’s Babies LLC. With 13 years of experience in childcare, I find immense joy in helping children grow, learn, and achieve amazing milestones. Watching them flourish in their unique ways is truly rewarding, and I’m excited to connect with new families and little friends in this journey.
I’ll be working with your children to develop skills in several key areas:
- Emotional Development & Regulation
- Foundational School Knowledge & Comprehension
- Language Skills in English, Spanish, Japanese, and Infant Sign Language
- Sensory & Art Exploration
- Gross & Fine Motor Skill Development
Fun Fact: The children lovingly call me "NaNa," and dancing is one of my favorite activities!

Shanice Antwane - Dedicated Childcare Director
Shanice Antwane is a passionate and committed childcare director who works tirelessly to ensure every child is well-nourished, cared for, and supported in their growth. She deeply values the unique personalities each child brings and takes pride in helping to build strong character in our young learners. With a creative approach and a genuine love for bringing out the best in others, Shanice fosters an environment where children can thrive.
Fun Fact: Outside of childcare, Shanice is also a talented makeup artist!
Her dedication and creativity make her an invaluable part of our team and a positive influence on every child’s journey.
Madison Tucker - Early Childhood Educator
Hello! My name is Madison, but to the kids, I’m Miss Madi. I believe the early years are a crucial time to nurture a child’s love for learning and support their overall well-being. My goal is to create environments that are inviting, fun, and full of wonder, sparking curiosity and inspiring a lifelong love of learning.
Fun Fact: When I’m not teaching, I’m an aesthetician!
I’m excited to help your little ones grow and thrive in a space designed just for them.
Unfortunately, more than 60% of New York State is considered a childcare desert. This means there is not enough childcare in an area to support the children that live there. Jannie's Babies Daycare agenda is to provide relief and help fill the ever growing void for quality daycare centers. Child daycare has always been a necessity worldwide. As the world continues to demand more from parents to work and provide for their family, the need for their children to be cared for is growing immensely, a dilemma that Jannie's Babies Daycare hopes to solve in its local community.
